"A DOCTOR'S DOCTOR" (Actually, A Surgeon's Surgeon): Dr. Aaron Salyapongse

Google Webster Orthopedics (for me, the first hit was the right one).  You'll be wanting their Dublin office:

Click on it.

Then, in the navigation bar select "About Us -> Our Team ->  Physicians." You can click on each one, or just select by holding the mouse or trackpad button down, and release when you get to "Physicians." (In the screenshot below, the images in the background change because they are from the landing pages you would see if you clicked, even though I am illustrating what you see if you are pulling down the menu and scrolling through it).

and then click on "Aaron K. Salyapongse, M.D" -- he's the ninth one down, that is, in the third column on the third row of featured physicians.   Annotated screenshots:

Or you could just follow this link:  Dr. Aaron Salyapongse   (But I wanted you to know how to navigate there.)

INSURANCE

In the last screenshot you saw listed the types of health insurance taken.  There is also a link on his page to Healthgrades, which also lists the kinds of insurance Dr. S takes. (Direct link to Healthgrades.)

They have a lot of really great info.  Click to enlarge.

Confirm with his office before enrolling!  Here is a direct link: Dr. S's Types Of Insurance.

Note, in the last screenshot, that they are not affiliated with him. (FULL DISCLOSURE: neither am I, other than his having worked the miracle of my new hip!) This i not n infomercial.  This post is a public service announcement for a couple friends of mine.  So they, like me, may dance gain.

BUYING INSURANCE

Buy Covered California ONLY - They are the only ones authorized to apply subsidy to the monthly payments. Open enrollment -- which is when you can change carriers -- is in December.  You can change back the following year if you want, and there are no exclusions for preexisting conditions, or penalties for changing.  Otherwise see number 2, above.

Its totally worth it.

Dr. SALYAPONGSE specializes in tissue sparing techniques for Accelerated Rehab.

He has a Top Notch team.

Some pointers:
  • Do everything they say.
  • Read up about your condition first.  Become an expert.  Ask questions.
  • If you smoke you will have to stop ar least one month prior;
    • best to keep not smoking until one month after;
    •  vaping and the patch count, so don't cheat.
    • Its so your body has a more negligible chance of not remembering how to breathe on its own after total anæsthesia.  No one wants that.
  • Do everything they say.
Leave a comment if you have questions.  Get started on your new lease on life. You will wonder why you waited so long.
